Makeup Tips for Eyebrow gels
An eyebrow gel is used to groom and keep unruly brow hair in place. An alternate to this is a bit of hairspray on a toothbrush, combed through the brow for hold and control.
There are colored eyebrow gels and brow tints available in the market, which help tone-up sparse, light-colored eyebrows and give them a thicker look, much like mascara. A bit of practice is needed in controlling the amount of gel/tint to be applied to the brow but it is worth the effort; especially when you raise that full, natural or dramatic looking brow.
One has to be careful not to get the brow gel on the skin and only apply it on the eyebrow. The combination approach-using a pencil with powder/brow gel or tint can create a full, softly shaped brow. After the brow shaping is done with the powder, the detail work can be finished with the brow gel: a helpful hint for those with bald spots in the eyebrows or wanting to extend the end of the brows for a better frame for the eyes.
The eyebrow gel needs to be brushed in mascara like fashion with the wand going through the brows, taking precaution not to leave the brows standing straight up for a natural look.
